Francesca Rossi is the IBM Global AI Ethics Leader and an IBM Fellow, spearheading efforts to embed ethical principles into artificial intelligence systems. With over 30 years of experience in AI research, she has published more than 230 scientific articles and co-authored influential works on preferences and ethical AI. Previously a professor of computer science at the University of Padova, Rossi has been a fellow of the European and International AI Associations. She has held key roles in global AI ethics initiatives, including the Partnership on AI, the OECD Expert Group on AI, and the European Commission’s High-Level Expert Group on AI.
